Preparation of Na₂HPO₄⋅12H₂O-based composite PCM and its application in air insulated box

Abstract In order to provide continuous supply for succeeding application, abundant electricity energy and solar can be stored by means of thermal storage technology. the present paper, heat storage/exothermic tests are conducted evaluate performance release in self – designed box equipped with composite phase change material (PCM), delivery surrounding environment is through an air blower directly. The PCM consisting Na 2 HPO 4 ⋅12H O 3 PO at ratio 7:3 used carry out tests, which stable solidification property. Following results obtained from this research: (1) temperature 33.4 °C reduced supercooling degree 2.6 °C; (2) exothermic enthalpy value 178.02 J/g; (3) “peak load shifting” equipment exchange efficiency 89.59%. achievements research show applicability technology PCM.
